Dudley Integrated Health and Care NHS Trust (DIHC) has developed and integrated primary care with community-based services within the Dudley healthcare system since 2020 with its core aim being community where possible and hospital when necessary. Our purpose is to improve the health and wellbeing of our local population in Dudley. We are currently working with organisations within the health care sector in Dudley and the Black Country System to look at the best way to continue to deliver the services to our patients. As such the services within the organisation may transfer to other organisations over the course of the next 12 months. We have a vacancy for a Trainee High Intensity Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) Therapist within a well established Talking Therapies Team. Your focus will be providing excellent integrated patient centred care and treatment with an enthusiasm to undertake professional learning and develop knowledge and skills around NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) approved interventions within primary care mental health. You will work alongside exceptionally qualified Step 2 and Step 3 staff trained in a variety of modalities, to support therapy delivery for the treatment of moderate to severe depression and anxiety disorders. Ongoing Continued Professional Development opportunities will be provided to support this important role and you will be provided with regular supervision, to enhance your skills as a practitioner. You will support the delivery of training, education and close partnership working, maintaining effective communications with both internal and external partners. As part of the role you will be expected to work flexibly to suit the needs of the service, this may include some early morning and late evening appointments.
