Trainee Financial Adviser

Location: London, Canary Wharf and Central London

Salary: Up to £35k (depending on experience) + Benefits + Training & Development

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join a well established Partner Practice of St. James’s Place and undertake a structured Development programme with full study and exam support to become a fully qualified Financial Adviser
The Role: Trainee Financial Adviser

  • Your role will begin initially working in the office, learning the SJP way of doing things, dealing with client enquiries and supporting the existing Wealth Managers, providing reports and information for client meetings.
  • As experience is gained within the financial industry environment, and with exam progression, you will begin attending Client meetings, gaining first-hand experience of understanding their financial goals and objectives and how best to achieve them. You will be providing cash flow forecasting and investment analysis.
  • During the training programme for the role of Financial Adviser you will have study and exam support needed to obtain the DipPFS, and enrolment into the SJP Adviser Academy.
  • Upon successful graduation from the Academy you will be tasked with servicing an existing client bank whilst building your own network.
The Person: Trainee Financial Adviser
  • You will ideally be a recent Graduate with a degree in Business, Economics or Finance, or a Degree in a different subject and have a strong interest in a Wealth Management or a Finance related career.
  • You will ideally have some previous experience of working within a professional office environment, and may have already gained some professional industry qualifications; such as RO modules
  • Most importantly, you are committed to studying for a career in Wealth Management where you will be advising clients to enable them to achieve their financial goals and objectives.
