Emperor’s Gate Surgery is looking to recruit a permanent receptionist to join our dedicated team, based at our surgery in Kensington. The receptionist role is an essential position within the Surgery in which you will act as the first point of contact for patients and will be instrumental in providing a warm and welcoming environment for patients and guests during their visit to the Surgery.
The main duties of the role include answering the phones, booking appointments, greeting patients, dealing with prescriptions, filing and assisting with ad-hoc administrative duties as required. Previous experience of working in reception or in a customer facing role, ideally within a healthcare environment, is desirable but not required Training will be provided to the right candidate.
This is a full time job based on 4 days and one day off. All our receptionists are required to be flexible with their working hours and duties to ensure we can cover colleagues’ absence whilst continuing to offer patients the best level of service possible at all times.
· Starting salary paid on an hourly rate is 11.95£
