Curtis of Lincoln are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to lead the successful running of one of our bakeries.
The person appointed will be successful in leading and motivating colleagues and will work together to achieve targets and provides a fantastic shopping experience to our valued customers.
The role will involve being able to deliver a swift and friendly service to every customer, consistently achieve high standards to meet customers' expectations . You will need to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets, to control stock and meet high standards of customer service, display and hygiene and develop the team through delivering training.
Responsibilities will involve customer service, baking, cashing up, banking, opening and closing the shop. We would expect you to encourage a hardworking but fun environment in which your team members can fulfill their potential. This will involve training and managing them in preparing food, handling money, using the till and keeping displays vibrant and the shop clean and tidy. You would need to ensure that your team and yourself, up sell appropriately to customers to increase sales and support profit protection through effective cost control skills.
A proven track record of experience in customer service, ideally in a retail or catering background would be an advantage. The ability to retain and remember orders for an efficient and swift customer experience and the ability to multi-task and work as a team for the successful running of the shop will be expected.
Permanent, full time will include weekends.
