The Kids' Table is the purveyor of crafty fun for kids age 3+ and run weekly kids' entertainment sessions in pubs and restaurants across London. We are on a mission to make eating out more enjoyable for families bringing joy to children and calm to parents.
We are looking for childcarers and playworkers to be bank staff on Sundays to cover the North & East regions of London.
The role involves setting up table top craft activities and games with a colleague, overseeing the children and helping them with the activities while parents relax at a nearby table.
This role would suit someone in a central location with good transport links. You must be prepared to travel to the following locations:

Shift times vary by venue between: 10.35am-4.20pm & 11.35am-4.20pm & 12.35am-5.20pm so you must have availability at these times.
You will be paid a two hour holding fee of £23.90 regardless of whether you are required to work but will be required to keep yourself free and be contactable at the weekend in case you are required to work. If you are required to work you will be paid for the full shift plus £15 travel cost.
If you are not needed we will confirm by 1pm on the Sunday, you will be free to enjoy your Sunday and you will still be paid the 2hr (£23.90 holding fee)
Requirements:
- applicant should have at least 1 year of childcare experience
- applicant should enjoy and be competent at doing craft activities with kids
- happy to oversee a group of 3 - 10 year olds; helping them play games / draw / make
- DBS checked (ideally on the Enhanced update service or a certificate dated within the last 12 months).
- Ideally first aid trained but not essential
You will work on a freelance basis so will be responsible for declaring additional earnings to HMRC.
Ideal for teaching assistants / teachers / childminders / nursery workers / nannies to work around their studies / regular work.
