WE ARE HIRING TRAINEE FIELD ENGINEERS
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are keen and determined to learn with opportunities to progress within our Tractor Logging Team.
The programme will provide candidates with an understanding of the Oil & Gas industry through classroom and hands-on experience using Altus Intervention processes and equipment.
The training programme will run for 6 weeks, starting on 27th March 2023. There will be 1 week at our Aberdeen base, 6 weeks training in Norway, then 1 week completing your survival.
JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide effective logging and well intervention services including case hole logging, tractor conveyance and powered mechanical application services.
- Participate in onshore activities such as preparation, maintenance and control of equipment according to procedures.
- Assist engineers in receipt, control and prepare necessary equipment for logging operation in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Under supervision of logging engineers assist in the execution of a safe logging operation in accordance with Company procedures.
- Assist engineers in reporting relevant and necessary data for maintenance, statistics and experience data as per internal procedures.
- Participate in all training to enable you to have suitable knowledge of the Company’s range of services and their application within the industry.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- HND/BSc, or equivalent, in a relevant engineering discipline.
