Job description
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Trainee Fabricator Welder. The successful applicant will follow an in-house Welder training scheme to gain experience with both MIG & TIG welding to BS287/288 standards. They will be trained to be conversant in all aspects of welding/fabricating principles, working with mainly mild steel from 1mm to 15mm
Training will include reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately to manufacture and assemble fabricated parts and also to ISO 9001-2015 quality standards. The work will involve some jig work.
The right applicant will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and become confident to work on their own initiative and as part of a team with minimum supervision.
Working hours: Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-2pm (40 hours per week)
