CAD Technician | Swinton, Manchester | Monday to Thursday 08.30 to 17.00, and Friday 08.30 to 13.30 | circa £38,000-£46,000 + dependent upon level of experience

Our client design, manufacture, commission and install fume cupboards and associated equipment.
In this role, you will uphold the responsibility of the company, ensuring all designs and details meets Good Manufacturing Practice and is compliant with the relevant Standards.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Project management experience is desired
- Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, the current version in use is LT 2020
- Be comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Be proactive and show an enthusiasm to learn
- Accept responsibility and be accountable
- Be willing to share knowledge
- Be polite, respectful, and considerate of others
- Have good time management
- Be able to drive and have a clean full licence
- Have their own vehicle capable and permitted for business use
What will your role look like?
- Producing detailing drawings of Fume Cupboards, Fume Extract Ductwork
- Carrying out site surveys, and taking measurements to aid in producing detailing drawings
- Liaising with Clients, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers
- Sourcing of best prices and raising Purchase Orders
- Management of projects, values up to approx. 150K
- Meetings with the Client and Sub-Contractors, face to face on-site and/or via Microsoft Teams
- Site visits to check the progress of our Installation Teams
- The compiling of Operating & Maintenance Manuals also As-Builts on completion of a project
What can you expect in return?
- £0.30 per mile paid when using your own vehicle for attending sites
- Annual holiday entitlement is 26 days per year plus bank holidays. The holiday period commences on the 1st of January until 31st December each year
- Enrolment into the workplace pension scheme is permitted after 3 months
- Salary payments are reviewed annually
- All necessary PPE will be provided throughout your employment
