If you are looking to develop your career in the television industry and have passion for designing stunning shooting sets that captures the essence of a brand and engages with audiences continue reading, as we have an exciting entry level opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our Art Department as a Trainee Design Runner.
As a Trainee Design Runner, you will support the Design team, work closely with the Set Dressers to dress and de-rig all sets safely and correctly. We are looking for someone with creative ideas and excellent interpersonal skills as you will be able to give your creative input into dressing the sets and will need to communicate effectively with the Dressers, Designers and Art Directors.
This role will suit you if you have knowledge of the television production process and its basic health and safety issues. It is essential for successful candidate to have meticulous eye for detail, time management skills and ability to work as part of the team. Experience of using hand-held tools and having prop making and painting skills will be an added advantage to the role.
