We are seeking to recruit a passionate and engaging Trainee Design Manager.

As a Trainee Design Manager you will undertake a degree in Construction and the Built Environment or similar degree qualification and develop into the role of a Design Manager. During the development period the Trainee Design Manager will assist the Design Manager.
The Design Management team has a critical role to play within all aspects of construction. The design management role can encompass overseeing internal and external design consultant teams, controlling the development of the design concept into manufacturing and managing the installation information. Working as part of a team you will assist in design process using commercial, contractual, programme / time awareness and technical expertise. Assisting in the preparation, managing, monitoring and reporting on the design Information. Assisting the project team in developing the construction programme in conjunction with the design programme.
You will be enrolled onto a Graduate Apprenticeship Scheme with a local university this will be to study, BSc (Hons) Construction and the Built Environment.

We offer a fully funded scheme where on completion you will gain a degree. Training will include time in relevant departments offering a broader understanding of how the business operates getting involved in interesting and challenging work. At the same time, you’ll be earning a competitive salary.

- Eligibility to work and live permanently in the UK
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence (desirable) or access to private/public transport
How will I spend an average working week?
You’ll spend one day a week attending university studying towards your interested degree. It’s not all about study and exams though. When you’re not in University you’ll be putting into practice what you’ve learned by working with experienced colleagues on a range of high profile projects.
You will get responsibility from an early stage in your career and will play a key role in helping deliver projects on time and under budget. You will also have opportunities to work on our high-profile projects.
