/ WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Accountant to manage the provision of commercial information within the Finance team. For someone looking to develop their career in finance, in line with their CIMA / ACCA studies, it’s an excellent opportunity that will offer you true commercial exposure.

Previous experience in a finance / commercial role, analysing and preparing management reports

Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate financial matters to non- Finance people

The ability to interpret large amounts of data in a logical manner

PC literate and proficient in the use of Excel (able to use Pivot Tables). SAP experience would be advantageous.

Methodical and thorough, a good organiser with strong attention to detail

CIMA/ACCA study support is available if required

/ HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)

Specifically, duties will include:

• Proactively build and maintain relationship in a commercial business.
• Taking ownership for a group of the agency’s clients and departments, preparing and analysing weekly and monthly management information on revenue, recoverability, margin and utilisation.
• Investigate and provide context to variance analysis against forecasts.
• Preparation of monthly reports, including revenue, billing and commercial performance, for senior commercial team and business leads.
• Preparation of WIP and billing for your clients, ensuring accrued revenue do not exceed 3 months in aging by reconciling accounts bi-weekly with the Account’s team.
• Supporting with the development of new management reports and business information to support the agency.
• Assist with quarter-end revenue audit
• Other commercial ad-hoc duties

• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills and adept at communicating effectively across all levels
• Highly developed presentation and delivery skills
• Ability to perform well in fast changing environments.
