CHAPELTOWN CITIZENS ADVICE based in an inner city multi-racial area of Leeds, Chapeltown Citizens Advice is an independent charity with 14 paid staff and 35 volunteers that provides a comprehensive advice service from its main office and outreaches.

This role may be suitable for you if you:

• Have experience of giving information/guidance to clients either within the public/charity sector or a regulated environment such as banking/insurance or other customer facing work anywhere in the world.
• Have an understanding of current issues facing disadvantaged groups in society. Have experience of working without close supervision and the ability to work to deadlines/manage time to ensure KPIs are achieved.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Are able to work flexibly as part of a team

We can offer comprehensive training and support to enable you to achieve competence as an adviser. You will be expected to complete the adviser training within two months and develop experience to casework level following that.

The role is to train as a caseworker. You will learn about all aspects of our work including giving advice through various channels, the telephone, email, and face to face.

Salary: 23,484 moving to £25,927 - £27,514 per annum after qualifying satisfactorily per annum plus 5% pension contribution. 36.25 hours per week 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
