LEARN TO BE A BAKER!
Trainee Baker 30 - 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday. Hours between 8am - 4pm/ 9.30am - 3.30pm
LOCATION: Norwich, Norfolk

The Trainee Baker's key responsibilities are:
To learn and assist in producing high quality baked goods
To learn how to bake scratch products like sourdough, confectionary and more
To learn how to develop new products
To always work to a professional standard
To follow recipes and procedures as laid down
To use equipment in a safe and responsible manner
To assist with commercial equipment and bakery cleaning
To assist with packing orders
To always work in a clean environment and follow the Rules of Hygiene
Also:
To follow instructions and learn from the Bakery Manager
Report any problems or irregularities to the Bakery Manager
All Trainee Bakers are expected to:
Work as part of a team and support colleagues where necessary
Follow the Health and Safety policy and be aware of personal safety and the safety of others
Adhere to Covid guidelines
Uphold high standards and have excellent attention to detail
Hold a current Certificate in Food Hygiene or acquire one within 3 months of start date

The successful applicant will work closely with the bakery management to progress and hone skills. Contract and salary will be appraised upon completion of training period.
All employees must be flexible and be prepared to assist others in doing alternative work at times, although this will always be avoided where possible
