Our young and growing accountancy practice seeks a Trainee Accountant to join our team of business advisers
We seek someone who is a great communicator, has a real interest in a long-term career in accountancy, excited about talking to clients and is comfortable with numbers.
The role will see candidates involved in the tax return process from day one, growing into areas of bookkeeping, management accounts and statutory accounts, then later developing into a specialist client adviser able to help clients with a wide range of topics.
This position will ideally appeal to someone who understands the vital importance of how to talk to clients, has an eye for detail, with the ability to follow internal systems as they undertake a wide range of general tax and accounting duties.
Open to all School, College or University leavers who are qualified, with Maths and English GCSE (A*-C/9-5), 3 x A levels (A*-C/9-5) or equivalent college qualification as a minimum. You may also have an AAT qualification or Degree.
Competitive salary (depending on experience and qualification) plus, a complete study package for the AAT and ACA/ACCA Qualification, which includes up to 30 days paid study leave and all course costs paid.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take part in several selection processes, including a remote teams exercise, a work trial assessment and an invitation to the office to participate in a group exercise and speed interviews.
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:30.
