Graduate Backend Developer (Student / Graduate Internship)
Part Time (1.5 - 2 Days per week)
An exciting new opportunity has become available to join a specialist hospitality IT solutions consultancy firm; Working with some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, chains and resorts my client offer end-to-end IT solutions - Consultancy, Implementation, and Management. Due to growth in the business, they are seeking a Back End Developer to join their team initially on a long term project with a view for permanent employment for the right person. This opportunity will see you working with key stakeholders of an international business and will require you to hit the ground running so your skills will need to be expert level.
This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining a variety of back-end software applications. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software development, strong knowledge ofAzure, Java and JavaScript, and a strong understanding of database design and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using Azure, Java and JavaScript
- Write clean, maintainable code that follows best practices
- Work with other developers to design clean, maintainable code
- Design clean, testable code
- Design clean, reliable architectures
- Create reusable code that can be reused across multiple projects
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks assigned
- Work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss project status, deliverables, and progress
- Perform other duties as assigned by the team or management
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Computer Science degree is a strong plus!
