We are looking for a Traffic Clerk in our depot to be part of a team that works together to provide excellent service. You will be a key part of the Tuffnells team and play a huge part in our growth and success. This role is about more than just providing great service, it is about putting our customers at the heart of what we do every day.

This role is working 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday - 12pm - 8.30pm

As a Traffic Clerk, you will support in ensuring drivers are fully briefed and de-briefed at the beginning and end of their days as well as speaking with drivers throughout their shift. You will liaise with customer service and the warehouse teams to resolve queries that come in during the day and make sure the system is up to date to be able to show the performance on the road.

You will need to

  • Ideally have experience working within a transport operation or administrative role
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships with team members
  • Be computer literate and confident in the use of technology and IT systems
  • Have a basic knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety
  • Be motivated and passionate
  • Have a strong work ethic and desire to work as a team to help Tuffnells succeed
  • Ideally have experience working within the Supply chain, logistics, FMCG, warehouse or distribution sector
