JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Stores/Shop Assistant
Reporting to: Stores Manager
Location: Ideal Head Office Nuthall Road Nottingham
Hours of work: 40 Mon-Fri
Salary: £11.00 per hour
Overall purpose: To assist the Stores Manager in the overall running of the Stores Department.
The Candidate: Must hold a current driver licence.
Be willing to learn a variety of tasks.
PC Literate.
DBS: Employment will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check as you may be required visit sites that require this.
Key Responsibilities
· To serve customers and general public in the retail shop
· To carryout light maintenance of cleaning machinery e.g., Vacuums, Carpet Machines, Floor Buffers etc. Full training will be provided.
· PAT Testing electrical equipment which will include travelling to various locations. Full training will be provided.
· To conduct web sales for orders placed online.
· Running the department in the managers absence which will include unlocking of the main office.
· To ensure company provided uniform is kept clean and tidy and is worn at all times while at work.
· To use every effort to develop and maintain effective working relationships with our customer and Ideal Cleaning Services colleagues.
Full training will be given for the right person who is willing to learn and go that one step further.
