Job description

Buckden Dental Clinic are looking for a dental nurse to join our friendly team.

We seek a candidate who possesses excellent customer service skills. Private three-surgery practice in the quiet village of Buckden near to the A1 and A14. Separate decontamination room and fully computerised with digital x-rays, SOE and clinipads.

Fully digital practice with a wide range of digital equipment and cosmetic procedures. Excellent job variety and satisfaction. Amazing team atmosphere. Working hours:

Monday 8:30am - 7:30pm, Tuesday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Fridays 8:30am - 3:50pm. One Saturday every six weeks 8:30am - 1:30pm on a rota basis.

Dental nurse qualification is ideal but would also consider an experienced trainee for the right candidate who posses the following qualities:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet patients.
  • Setting up and closing down the surgery
  • Checking the day list for materials and lab work needed in advance
  • Decontamination procedures
  • Assisting the dentist and recording clinical notes
  • Assisting reception duties as needed
  • Provide a high level of customer service and patient care
  • Carry out other administrative duties as directed by the practice manager

Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications. Dental nursing qualification preferred but will consider an experienced trainee dental nurse.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £21,153.60-£31,054.39 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • St. Neots: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
  • Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Valid GDC registration (preferred)
