As a Barclays Trade & Working Capital Originator - UK International Corporate Banking, you will lead a portfolio of the world’s top investment grade clients, covering a wide range of industry sectors to drive business development activities. This exciting opportunity will allow you to gain exposure in originating business from some of the largest multinational companies, pitching, delivering complex innovative trade finance solutions from documentary trade facilities, receivables and supplier finance, as well as, ECA financing.

• Driving Trade & Working Capital revenues & returns for the portfolio of clients
- Building long term and sustainable relationship with clients based on trust
- Developing a meaningful pipeline of Trade & Working Capital transactions
- Obtaining detailed client requirements in order to fulfill them confidently
- Delivering exceptional client pitches including solid recommendations which will minimize inherent risks
- Communicating complex concepts and products to internal & external stakeholders of all levels
• Technical knowledge and experience of Trade & Working Capital origination
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills are essential to the role, as well as the ability to work as part of a team
- Logical and structured approach to achieving desired outcomes along with good written and oral communication with ability to communicate across all levels
- Thorough and in-depth understanding of the Working Capital product set
• Client Focused with excellent negotiation skills
- Exceptional rapport building skills and ability to collaborate with other teams
- Proficiency in MS Office package
- Solid analytical & research skills

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
