Research and Impact Officer in Behavioural Science
Salary from £39,313 to £47,148 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £50,614 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a 12-month, fixed term appointment. The successful applicant may work between 20 and 35 hours per week, (to be agreed at the point of job offer).
The Inclusion Initiative (TII) launched in November 2020 with the aim of bringing behavioural science insights to financial and professional services firms, allowing them to enhance the inclusion of all talent. Simultaneously, TII aims to produce academically rigorous and relevant research that links directly to this core purpose.
The postholder will play a key role in providing research and general support to the Director of TII, in order to increase the impact of TII. Responsibilities will include co-authoring op-eds with the Director for outlets such as the Harvard Business Review; searching and arranging external opportunities for impact; taking meetings with external stakeholders on-site and virtually; attending events; creating social media content; and providing general research assistance, all to support the activities of the Director. The successful candidate will have a high-level knowledge of behavioural science or a related discipline, and experience of applying this knowledge to create op-eds, impact, and research. They will have completed, or almost completed, a MSc or BSc in behavioural science, management, or a related discipline. They will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, and able to work independently to tight deadlines.
