Job description
A wonderful three day nanny position has become available in Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire. You will be looking after two siblings – a little boy aged three and a girl aged 20 months. The family is looking for a kind, fun and active nanny, who can become part of their happy family unit. Although the parents regularly work from home, this is a sole charge position.
The proposed hours are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 07.30-19.30, with the children attending nursery on two half days during that time. However, the family are open to discussions if these exact hours do not work – the key day to be covered is Wednesday.
The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating indoor fun (fun games, reading, jigsaws, arts and crafts, singing songs, imaginary play, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park, trips to the farm, etc. The parents would like the children to attend play dates and groups to allow them to mix with other children, ensuring that they are happy and safe at all times.
As well as general care of the children, you will cook healthy and nutritious meals each day. Any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated – helping with the children’s laundry, keeping their areas tidy and organised, emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms are tidy at the end of the day, etc.
You will need to be a careful and confident driver with your own fully insured car and a clean licence. Duty mileage will be paid at the current government rate.
There is also a friendly Westie dog, who very much likes to participate in childcare and would appreciate being fed and taken for a short walk during the day.
