WHAT TO EXPECT

You will be working as a Crafted Quality Engineer within our Bespoke SVO department. The team is ever growing and is heading towards the 20 person mark and you could be the newest part of it. You will be apart of the interior trims team where you will be using visualisation techniques, Using CAD tools such as 3D Experience and Catia to help improve the interior layout of the new releases.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is currently working as a Crafted Quality Engineer, Optical Engineer, Materials Engineer, Perceived Quality Engineer or if you have great experience working with CAD, Crafted Quality and Interior Trims.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Leadership of the Crafted Quality process to facilitate delivery of a vehicle meeting the required visual quality standards for SVO Halo projects
  
• Organise and run regular reviews, working closely with, personnel from Product Development, Quality, Design, Dimensional Variation Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering and Vehicle Engineering.
  
• Liaising with above groups to lead the resolution of Crafted Quality issues, giving advice on engineering solutions for improved visual quality.
  
• Working with Product Development engineers, considering detailed engineering including datum & locator strategies, fixing methods, materials, tooling etc. to develop best-in-class solutions.

WHAT YOU-LL NEED

Essential:

• Experience using CAD software such as Catia / 3D Experience.
  
• Knowledge and experience of the range of component technologies and manufacturing techniques used within Interior Systems development.
  
• A relevant degree or demonstration of equivalent technical experience
  
• Ability to present data & issues to a varied audience.
