Job description

Job Brief:

Plan, direct, or coordinate accounting, investing, banking, insurance, securities, and other financial activities of AHRO.

Reports to: General Director

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the flow of cash and develop or analyse information to assess the current or future financial status of firms.
  • Invoicing and Accounts Receivable: Generate and issue invoices to customers for services rendered; monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve billing discrepancies; Maintain customer payment records and update the accounting system accordingly.
  • Expense Management: Verify expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures; Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Evaluate data pertaining to costs to plan budgets.
  • Prepare financial or regulatory reports required by laws, regulations, or boards of directors.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Prepare operational and risk reports for management analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring proper documentation and filing.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with individual or business customers or provide assistance with problems that employees or customers may encounter

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in related fields.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills and experience in preparing financial statements.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, principles, and practices.
  • You should be comfortable completing administrative tasks in an efficient and productive manner.
