Care Assistant: Full in-house training provided regardless of experience. Hours per week: work Friday, Saturday and Sunday either early or late, no other weekdays required, plus two full weekends off every month) Hours of availability: You choose; Earlies (7:00am - 3:00pm), or Lates (3:00pm - 10:00pm) Location: Gillingham and Chatham (and surrounding areas) - we aim to keep you close to your local area, however must be prepared to work anywhere in Medway. Hourly Rate: We pay £13.25 per hour + mileage (if you choose to work during the week, pay is: £12.25, however weekend rates apply 7pm - 7am). Enhanced rates paid for all public holidays; Christmas and New Year is paid at double time! Are you only available to work Fridays and weekends, but don't want to work every weekend? Each member of our team must share our values and already be: Caring Honest Reliable In addition to the above, we require our Care Assistants to: Be able to work 3 weekends each month Have a full UK driving licence (or equivalent) Have access to your own vehicle - This role is not suitable for 'non-drivers' Already have full legal right to work in the UK - We do not offer sponsorship at this time Be prepared to attend our 3-day induction training at our Gillingham office Already live in Medway I like what I've read, but what tasks will I do? Our clients depend on our team of dedicated CareGivers to help and support them with the activities of daily living in their own homes. Typical tasks include: Personal care (minimal assistance is all that is sometimes required) Companionship (hobbies, trips out, shopping etc) Medication administration / assistance Assisting clients living with Dementia Meal preparation Light housekeeping Catheter / STOMA care And much more...
