An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Therapy Assistant to join the East Riding Cardiac Rehabilitation Service.
The team comprises of Clinical Specialist Cardiac Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants, providing Rehabilitation to patients with a range of cardiac conditions.
The Service delivers its programme via either a group- based community programme or a virtual 1:1 programme. The group based programme is delivered in four venues within the East Riding and the successful candidate will be required to provide therapy assistance to all programmes therefore ability to commute efficiently across the East Riding area is essential.
The service also provides a virtual programme via telephone calls or video link.
The successful candidate will support the Physiotherapist in the planning and implementation of both the community and virtual programmes.

- To provide Therapy support to patients/clients within standard operation procedures and contribute to the care planning process as a member of the team.
- Working as part the East Riding Cardiac Rehabilitation Service.
- To support members of the multi-disciplinary team ensuring efficient delivery of care by supporting the administration of the service when necessary.
- To undertake delegated therapy tasks within assessed competencies as decided by the Physiotherapist.
