The UK Theatrical Sales department is currently recruiting for the role of Theatrical Sales Assistant , this role will provide administrative and logistical support to the Theatrical Sales team to deliver optimal sales results, short and long term. Managing all Print, Trailer and POS dispatch to ensure the smooth operations of the team, collaborating with departments across the group to optimise the success of all releases.
Key Responsibilities
Tasks relating to Theatrical Sales include:
Organise all ‘Release Print’ movements to cinemas across the UK & Eire for all necessary screenings, including liaising with all relevant parties, both internal and external
Liaise with Technical and other Depts to organise all ‘Screening Print’ movements across UK & Eire for all necessary screenings, but with special emphasis on West End Screening Rooms
Ensure that at all times, reasonable caution is given to the possibility of piracy
Maintain the log for all print movements and locations, and produce and circulate a weekly list of forthcoming screenings
Liaise with the Sales Team to ensure prints are logged for all necessary bookings
Liaise with all Departments re print availability / non-availability for screenings
Issue KDM’s as & when necessary, which may sometimes be out of office hours
Liaise with the Theatrical Exhibition Marketing Manager and organise all Poster, Trailer & other POS Despatch
Tasks relating to general administration support include:
Creation of License agreements
Raising PO’s
Reviewing invoices, matching with PO’s and passing for signature
Trailer Despatch
EDI Reports and related internal analysis & spreadsheets
Maccs updates & reports, including Play Lists
Supporting the Head of Theatrical Distribution, including expenses and travel plans
General Admin duties
Organise Exhibitor & Staff Screenings
Produce & circulate the Weekly Screening Schedule
Produce & circulate a range of ad-hoc reports as and when required
Attend meetings & screenings as and when required
Ad hoc projects / analysis to further assist the growth in Sales
Key Skills
Able to demonstrate relevant experience, ideally within the industry
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with a creative and analytical mindset
Ability to work independently and under own initiative
Can effectively multi-task, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
The ability to communicate calmly and effectively while working within a pressured environment
PC literate (e.g. MS Office – Outlook, Word & Excel)
