The Post:

Our Technology
Our department tests across a range of platforms and technologies, examples of which are mobile applications, web sites, web applications, business intelligence (Data) and ServiceNow implementations. These can be inhouse developments or externally sourced procurements. This allows for a diverse and challenging environment in which to operate allowing exposure and experience within different areas of implementation.
The Candidate:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic testing professional to join our team as a Test Analyst. You will work in one of a range of projects within NSS, specifically in the areas of test planning, test execution and test automation. This is a critical role in supporting the strategic delivery of various programmes within National Services Scotland.

- Test planning
- Test execution
- Test representation on project teams
- Issue triage and resolution
- Pro-actively contributing to service improvement especially around automation
- User engagement

- Proven experience in the software testing domain
- Knowledge and experience of testing processes and approaches
- Understanding of automation approaches and tools

- Ability to constructively challenge to confidently contribute to overall success of the service

Location and Working Pattern:
Location: Edinburgh/Glasgow/Hybrid working options available
However, it should be noted that NSS is currently in the process of relocating from Meridian Court, Glasgow to nearby Delta House, 50 West Nile Street Glasgow G1 2NP, from 1st September 2023.
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NSS.
