Kotn is looking for an Art Director to support the Creative Director and the creative team in the development of innovative designs, creation of impactful concepts and execution of campaigns in an effective manner. This is an exciting opportunity, integral to the growth and success of the Kotn Consumer Brand.
What you’ll be working on:
Design (40%)
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop innovative designs and execute the creation of marketing collateral, including but not limited to digital and print ads, campaigns, social content, retail displays, and packaging
- Create visually engaging layouts and graphics, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and standards
- Assist in the development and execution of creative concepts, storyboards, and visual treatments for campaigns and other assigned projects
- Research industry trends, competitors, and understand our target audience to maintain a relevant and fresh design approach, considering feedback and data in iterative design processes
Brand Visual Presentation (30%)
- Support the Creative Director in developing and maintaining a consistent brand visual identity across all touchpoints, including retail stores, marketing channels, and digital platforms
- Collaborate with Consumer Channels teams to seamlessly integrate brand messaging and visual elements across all channels
- Contribute to the development of brand guidelines, style guides, and maintain asset libraries to ensure visual cohesion and uphold standards
- Develop brand guidelines, including typography treatments, graphic treatments, photography concepting, and maintain asset libraries to ensure visual cohesion and effective channel use
Set & Studio Production Assistance (30%)
- Collaborate with the Creative Director, photographers, stylists, and models to plan and execute product shoots, ensuring consistent visual quality and brand representation
- Edit and retouch images and videos as required, ensuring they meet brand quality standards
- Work alongside photographers and videographers to meet channel content needs, supporting the creation of video and still content as required
- Oversee shoot activities related to off-figure photography

Additional Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a graphic designer, art director, or in a similar capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field is considered an asset
- Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and a solid understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
- Knowledge of current fashion, retail industry, and relevant pop-culture trends
- A portfolio showcasing your design skills and previous work in the fashion or retail industry is required. Please attach it with your application.
