About the Role
Numbers are your world? Do you have many years of professional experience in this area, a quick grasp of the concept and a meticulous way of working? Then we would like to get to know you. As Accounts Receivable Accountant (m/f/d), you will be responsible for managing an independent area of responsibility in accounts receivable accounting for our customers in Germany and Austria.
What you will be doing:
Customer accounts: You clarify and analyze customer accounts, monitor payment deadlines and agreed installment payments, and take care of customer complaints and reconcile incoming payments.
You will independently process overdue and titled receivables and communicate by telephone and in writing in German with customers/debtors, collection agencies, attorneys, clients and other parties involved.
Dunning process: You will take over the automated dunning process, evaluations and, if necessary, write-offs of receivables, as well as the administration of attorney, collection and insolvency cases for your area of responsibility.
What you bring to be successful:
Successfully completed commercial training and several years of professional experience in the areas of accounts receivable and credit control management.
Independent and goal-oriented work and an affinity for numbers
Pleasure in communication and working in a team as well as high customer orientation
Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications as well as very good knowledge and several years of experience in SAP
You have a very good and business fluent knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
Good knowledge of German HGB law (German Commercial Code)
