Job description
16-week technical learning narrative covering our vehicle systems, and architecture. The successful candidate will lead a cohort of 10 trainees across the START Learning Journey, targeted on content delivery, leading practical training sessions, programme execution, and cohort pass rate.
The Tesla START Instructor requires someone with exceptional ability to deliver learning solutions for a wide range of skills, abilities, and experiences, and develop and maintain strong partnerships with internal partners and stakeholders. The START Instructor is responsible for delivering all aspects of the START academic experience, ensuring participants are effectively equipped with the required technical training, alongside behavioural coaching, and support.
This programme is running only in London (Heathrow) and will require all Instructor applicants to operate FULL TIME Mon-Fri from that location permanently.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate classroom facilitation, creativity, organisational skill, a results-oriented mindset, and have a passion for teaching others about electric vehicles. Whilst also meeting the below parameters.
What You’ll Bring
Must have detailed and thorough knowledge of Mechanical processes, Products, and Systems- Excellent and demonstrable automotive system repair knowledge and training experience.
- Ability to teach and coach to facilitate others’ learning, experience in people leadership is preferred
- Automotive, electrical and HV system repair knowledge, and training experience is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally with multiple departments and stakeholders
- Highly skilled with common workplace and database software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be able to work in London Heathrow over the 16-week training programme (no relocation provided)
