Position Details & Responsibilities

Herk & Associates is recruiting a Northwest Regional Territory Manager for a world-leading Manufacturer of Construction and Forestry Equipment. This is a remote-based position with up to 60% travel within the territory (WA, OR, MT, ID, WY, AK). Qualified candidates must reside within (or being willing to relocate to) Oregon or Washington state.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building relationships, both creating new relationships and nurturing existing relationships with dealers and customers.
• Responsible for increasing revenue and sales within a large territory. This role requires someone with a strong sales background and hunter mentality.
• Represent the OEM at trade shows and association meetings to promote our brands.
• Provide product knowledge and training to customers, end users, and dealer sales representatives.
• Coordinate and conduct field demonstrations as well as operate machinery at demo work sites when needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

• Knowledge of heavy equipment/construction equipment.
• Ten years experience in sales of forestry, construction, or similar heavy equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with CRM systems.
• Extremely organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and physical ability to drive & operate machinery safely.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Strong work ethic. Motivated and driven team player.
