Job description
Headway Essex is looking for a caring and compassionate person to manage our telephone helpline support service, you will be:
- Providing helpline support and service information
- Processing initial enquiries and referrals from professionals and survivors of brain injury.
- A listening ear and make wellbeing support calls.
- Providing administrative support for Case Workers
- Creating and maintaining service user records

You will have:
- Previous experience in a health and social care role
- Good knowledge of Safeguarding
- A Health and Social care or relevant qualifications
- Excellent administrative and IT skills
- Knowledge of brain injury is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- This role is office based, 22.5 hours per week (minimum of 4 week days) the days and hours to be agreed, but will be weekdays between the hours of 9:00 to 16:30
Job Type: Part-time
Contract length: 18 months
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
Salary: £10.55-£13.15 per hour
