The Role
The exciting role is for a Sales Representative working with a well-established industrial door manufacturer based in York. You will be responsible for administration, new business generation, customer service & quoting of orders for our client’s high-end portfolio of businesses. This role will require a proactive candidate who is happy to deal with customers over the phone & is confident in liaising with multi-disciplined teams at all levels.
- Use of a computerised CRM system to log calls and leads.
- Account management and customer service to develop further business from clients who already use.
- New business generation over the phone.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role will have the following attributes;
You will have exposure in a similar role or in a sales environment. You will have previous sales or retail experience (preferably within an engineering or manufacturing background) and must be confident over the phone in dealing with customer enquiries and objections. It is essential that you can communicate well at all levels.
- Need to be able to work alone and as part of a small team – must be self-motivated.
- Strong administration and data entry skills.
- Eager to learn and develop with the business.
