The Post
Wetherby School are looking for a career minded and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2023.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and confident and will be able to support and inspire children to foster their enthusiasm for learning. They will also have the skills and maturity required to take on the teaching assistant’s duties and responsibilities. A willingness to contribute fully to the extra-curricular activities and life of the school is vital.
A degree qualification or teaching qualification is essential for this role. This post would suit a graduate looking for school based experience before furthering their career in the teaching profession.
The School
Wetherby School is a thriving and highly successful non-selective, independent school in Notting Hill with 360 boys, aged 2 ½ to 8. The school is heavily oversubscribed and extremely successful in securing pupils’ entry into the preparatory school of their choice. It is part of the Alpha Plus Group of schools, which is one of the country's leading educational groups.
Remuneration
The Alpha Plus Group has its own salary scale, which is above the Central London Maintained Scale. A salary will be offered to the successful candidate in the range of £30,000 to £32,470 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
