Job description
FANTASTIC HOUSE MANAGER ROLE FOR UHNW FAMILY IN CENTRAL LONDON
Location: Holland Park, London
Salary: £50,000 per annum, negotiable
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Status: Live out
We have an amazing opportunity for an organised, self-motivated, and highly reliable House Manager to support an international ultra-high-net-worth family in their Central London property. This is a fantastic opportunity, supporting a lovely, active family of 6 (4 children) who are in residence roughly 25% of the year.
Responsible for the day-to-day running of the home in the family’s absence, as well as supporting them daily when they are in residence, you will be proactive, flexible and approachable, liaising closely with their PA to ensure that all their needs are met. Overseeing two housekeepers and ensuring that the highest standards are maintained year-round, you will also assist with hiring additional temporary staff when required.
The technical and maintenance aspects of the property are managed by an external company, but the family are looking to appoint a switched on candidate with a good eye for detail who they can rely on to flag any potential issues to them in their absence. You will be responsible for household shopping, placing orders, receiving, and sending parcels, keeping track of household accounts, and running ad-hoc errands.
The ideal candidate will be a brilliant communicator with a team player mentality who is able to offer flexibility - the family usually visit for 1-2 weeks at a time, so when they are in residence you will be on hand to offer support when required. When they are not in residence, working hours are very flexible.
