This role will suit someone local to Burton on Trent with no more than 50 mins travel to site required. Training and learning of the equipment and processes is required and will take place on site. We are a small modern clean warehouse dealing with multimillion pound telecoms equipment, servicing UK and Worldwide customers. Willingness to learn and to be flexible is the key.
Telecommunications Warehouse Operative
We are recruiting for enthusiastic, reliable Operative to work in our clean modern small warehouse in Burton for Phoebe Telecom Ltd. The right candidate will be learning to identify different types of equipment and materials, with training, put equipment together ready for the field engineers. It will be your responsibility to maintain the warehouse, down to waste disposal to space management.
Details of a Telecommunications Warehouse Operative:
- Salary: Days – P.A £25k - £27k experience dependent
- Occasional deliveries to locations throughout the UK, overnight stays could also be required. All fully expensed.
- Location: Derby Road Burton On Trent
- Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00 with occasional weekends if operationally required.
- UK drivers’ licence maximum 3 points allowed.
- Able to use Microsoft Office package/Excel/Word and be PC Literate.
- Stock taking experience.
Role of a Telecommunications Warehouse Operative:
- Warehouse Operative – managing goods in and goods out recording down to serial number levels. Maintaining good stock levels of all consumable items making sure they do not drop to critical levels. Loading and unloading, picking, and packing for onward delivery, occasional deliveries to the field-based staff, this can be anywhere in the UK, and would be fully expensed if overnight stay required. Organising/managing recycling/rubbish collections.
