Job Title: Telecommunications Engineer
Location: Field Based – South of England – Preferably north of London (e.g. Milton Keynes/Cambridge/Northampton etc.)

Job Purpose:
The role of Telecommunications Engineer is really important to us. Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Telecoms Engineer to join the Radius Connect team. You will be part of a busy technical team, providing exceptional levels of service to new and existing clients.
Your responsibilities day to day will be…
Our team are responsible for delivering new installations, conducting site surveys, and adds/moves/changes of various hosted telephony and contact centre platforms.
Gathering information through site surveys to ensure smooth rollouts.
- Ensure installations are carried out in a professional and timely manner.
- Engaging with customer to deliver their requirements.
- Customer training on use of the telephony platform and ancillary products (reporting, call recording etc.).
- Ensuring all documentation is detailed and accurate to ensure a smooth transition to in life support.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may be required on occasion to perform other duties assigned by the manager/director. This job description is a guide to the duties and responsibilities of the post and is not exhaustive.
What do we expect of you?
Proven track record in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years.- Experience installing and supporting Hosted (VOIP/SIP) telephone solutions such as Gamma Horizon, 8x8, Wildix etc.
- Experience installing and supporting network hardware such as routers and switches.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Enjoys engaging with customers and building strong relationships.
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work outside of contracted work hours as and when required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
