Lynx UK Ltd have opportunities to join our telecoms engineering services team and learn telecoms from the ground up.
As an offsite based role with significant working time spent on client sites nationwide, you will need to be able to follow instructions, be a good communicator and a team player.
The role involves working in a team of telecoms engineers performing deinstallation of telecoms equipment, lifting and carrying of telecoms stock and movement of large telecoms racks using lifting aids.
Physical strength and ability to safely handle stock items, some of which can be very heavy requiring two people or lifting equipment.
The main base is Andover and therefore will to report to SP10, ready for travel nationwide, which will require being away from Home Monday to Friday unless the role is local to your home location (within 1 hr drive), overnight accommodation will be booked for you. There is the possibility of overtime on projects subject to workload and this being authorised.

You must hold a full UK manual driving licence.
Main responsibilities but not limited to:
Site Equipment De-installations
- Unloading of equipment from site vans
- Physical de-installation of telecoms equipment.
- Recovery of redundant cable systems
- De-installation of infrastructure such as Unistrut, cable tray and basket.
- Moving equipment to staging area / loading bays.
- Loading equipment onto vans / lorries
Deliveries & Collections Assist with -
- Delivery of equipment & consumables to work site
- Delivery of equipment to clients’ sites
- Collect equipment from clients’ sites
- Rack collections
- Delivery of equipment to recycle centres
- Movement of equipment to Lynx warehouses
Detailing Assets
- Record serial numbers of stock items.
- Assist with stock takes and inventory counting
- Prepare stock for recycling
- Prepare stock for transport to warehouse
- Labelling stock items
Any other task required by the role as may arise from time to time.
Hours are 8:00 to 17:00
£11.50 - £12.15 Per hour depending of experience
