IS THIS SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?

This is a new position within Foods Connected and as part of leading a modernisation project the Technology Transformation Project Manager will collaborate across our in house software teams and have oversight in all stages of the development life-cycle. You must provide project support, facilitate communication and ensure all projects are progressing successfully. A key aspect of this role will be to update leadership across Foods Connected and reporting on the status of each project. You must hold an understanding of the Software Development lifecycle and be capable of developing resourcing plans for projects from conception through delivery.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with engineering leaders and Foods Connected development and product team, to develop a reporting infrastructure which ensures commercial deadlines are adhered to.
  • Report across multiple product lifecycle’s from requirements gathering and prioritization through production, delivery, and adoption.
  • Have a strategic focus by identifying the challenges our Foods Connected developers face and defining new opportunities to improve our developer experience.
  • Engage frequently with leadership across the Development teams; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, provide input on requirement acceptance and refinement, testing and validation, contribute to design activities and decisions.
  • Meet with engineering leaders regularly to understand the platform vision, direction, and roadmap.
  • Communicate and share with both internal and external audiences the business problems, developer challenges, and creative and interesting approaches we are taking to fulfil these needs
  • Run successful internal product adoption campaigns, driving awareness and benefits of platform adoption
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product roadmaps and needs related to new and changing product offerings across the Foods Connected
  • Develop and report on business impact and time to market enabled by Business Systems technology platforms.
  • Apply agile mindset and iterative planning approach to Business Systems development to increase efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, and 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • 4+ years' experience in a Project Manager role.
  • Prince 2 Practitioner

Experience Required:

To perform this job successfully, the Technology Transformation Project Manager should have experience with:

  • Strong project and product/ technical background with a track record of hands-on experience delivering commercial software solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile development practices.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to synthesize business requirements to inform long-term product strategy.
  • Successful track record of defining and delivering on a product vision and a multi-year product roadmap and drive alignment across business stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and presentation skills.
