Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, dispenser (NVQ3 qualified) ACT, to join the team at our busy independent pharmacy.

Main duties to include: labelling, dispensing , helping patients on the phone, liaising with surgeries and other general tasks necessary to maintain the smooth running of the pharmacy. A qualified ACT would play an important role in supporting the pharmacist manager in ensuring the smooth running of the pharmacy and the delivery of enhanced services.

The permanent jobs would be 40 hours per week spread over 5 days and not normally including Saturday, although some holiday cover would be required but not more than a couple of Saturdays per year. NHS pension scheme available if wanted.

Busy Pharmacy with experienced team supporting one full time pharmacist providing all services, with additional locum pharmacist support when required. Excellent relationship with adjacent surgery where all surgery team are supportive of the pharmacy and have a first class patient care and service record. Pharmacy and surgery take great pride in looking after their patients, although there is no room for anyone who wants to keep people waiting for an hour for their prescription or having to queue to be served. You will be expected to work to the highest standard and aspire to match the professionalism of the rest of the team.
