Job description

Established for over 30 years, my client is a market leader in providing access control, electronic security and personnel management systems to major global organisations and is the EMEA of a global US based organisation. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Administrator to provide support to a major global bank based in Canary Wharf. This is a Hybrid role with home-based working on a 3 / 2 split basis with 3 days at home and 2 in the office. Travel to the Canary Wharf office for 2 days a week will be reimbursed.

Please note this is a maternity cover contract until January 2024.

This exciting opportunity provides administrative and organisational support to the Operations Department across projects throughout the UK and EMEA, and works alongside Project Managers throughout project life cycles, including communications with Project and client stakeholders, suppliers, LSP’s, Contractors and engineering staff.

Duties

  • Obtains and enters data for projects
  • Ensure all permits and supporting documentation is raised and approved to allow engineering teams to carry out works
  • Monitor and manage the team mailbox
  • Prepare monthly SLA meeting presentations for team lead
  • Manage internal ticketing system, raising and assigning changes on various projects
  • Raising and providing adhoc reports when required
  • Coordinate scheduling of installations and arrange supplier deliveries
  • Maintain relevant project documentation

About You

  • Strong telephone and personal customer service skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Solid Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills
  • Solid organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail

This is a busy role and would suit an applicant with strong project coordination and administrative experience, ideally within construction / engineering or a similar sector. You will have a professional and motivated approach together with excellent administrative and organisational skills.

  • Salary is £33K plus benefits (pro rata)
  • 25 days annual leave (pro rata)
  • Hybrid Role – 3 days home based / 2 days in Canary Wharf
  • All travel expenses to Canary Wharf office paid
