Dexcent has an opportunity for Technical Writers to join our growing team. Our technical writers develop documentation for client SCADA and Control Systems in a user-friendly and engaging format.

About the Candidate
Our ideal candidate has:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Technical Writer, Business Analyst or related role
- Experience collecting and documenting information on IT/OT processes and procedures
- Experience with documenting software code
- Experience preparing reports, manuals, and documentation related to software implementation, maintenance and operation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with documentation related to SCADA/control systems is preferred
The Technical Writer will:
- Gather information on the implementation, maintenance and operation of client SCADA and/or control systems, and related applications, to document processes and procedures.
- Develop technical specifications, as-builts, and operations manuals for systems.
- Develop user guides and training materials for onboarding team members to use client systems in alignment with established standards.
- Research and document system architecture, as required.
- Update client and company knowledge management system(s), ensuring user-friendly access, searchability, etc.
- Ensure appropriate document controls (version control, etc.) are implemented and maintained.
