Technical & Sustainable Fabric Assistant

Your Role
- Driving an innovation first mindset in close collaboration with the Design, Buying & Sourcing teams, your big focus will be on keeping George product ahead of the market by delivering fabric that has a unique understanding of our customers' wants and needs.
- You'll look at competitive benchmarking, manage & deliver the Key Fabric Standard Approvals of George and ensuring they are relevant and current for our customers.
- Work With mills, suppliers and internal teams on ‘ Fabric First' projects- driving consistency of performance & opportunity for leverage.
- Train and support our internal teams, global supply base and In Country Offices, on all things fabric related.
- Uphold out sustainability pledges & targets & ensure/ support all relevant governance is in place.
About You
- You will have a thorough knowledge of fabric production methods & product testing requirements.
- You will have great time management skills and can adapt to Changing priorities with strong organisational skills
- You will be excited and driven to search for new innovations and optimum fabric qualities to ensure best product for our customer
- You will have excellent communication skills, helping you drive stakeholder engagement internally and externally.
