Main purpose of the role
To deliver industry-leading, customer-centric, technical support for our range of computer-based underground inspection and reporting systems.
Main tasks and duties of the role
Delivering great customer service is our number one priority, and we’re looking for a tech-minded, friendly, and ambitious individual to join our company, and help us achieve our goal of developing the best technical support network in the industry.
The main duties of the role are:
· Supporting our customers over the phone
· Supporting our customers in person at our workshop
· Inspecting and diagnosing problems with products
· Carrying out repairs to our products
· Ensuring all processes are followed, including using our internal systems, and ensuring customer records are up to date
· Liaising with and communicating with other departments
Full training will be provided, but a naturally high level of technical competency and comprehension, as well as good problem-solving skills are required. If you’re the person that your family turns to for tech support, you could be the person for us!
As you’ll be liaising directly with customers, excellent interpersonal skills, telephone manor, and communication skills are a must. You must also be patient, friendly, and enjoy talking to people.
This is a very exciting, full time, permanent role, with plenty of scope for career progression.
You will start on £25,000 per year. This will then increase to £27,500, and then £30,000 per year upon the completion of your probationary period and training respectively. Training will be delivered at a pace that suits you as an individual.
Further career progression and salary increases up to £40,000 per year with bonuses, are all achievable within a reasonable amount of time.
