My client is currently seeking a talented individual to join their experienced technical team. With over forty personnel, the team is well-established and provides an excellent environment for growth and development.
Please note this is NOT a remote or hybrid role. As such you will be required to be on-site in East Sussex 5 days per week, with occasional travel to other sites (for which you will be reimbursed)
Title: 3rd Line Technical Support Consultant
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE
Location: East Sussex
Work pattern: Mon-Fri on site
Responsibilities:
As a member of the team, you will be involved in a wide range of technical activities, including:
- Technical pre-sales consultancy
- Solutions design, project planning & execution
- Proactive maintenance of existing systems
- Conducting technical assessments and writing comprehensive reports
Desired Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate should have experience working with some of the following technologies:
- Microsoft Windows Server, including hands-on experience with:
- Active Directory migrations
- File server migrations
- Exchange migrations
- Microsoft 365 Technologies, including:
- Exchange Online, Exchange Online Protection
- SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune and AutoPilot)
- Microsoft Defender for Office 365
- Microsoft Azure experience (IaaS and SaaS)
- Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and VMware)
- Advanced-level networking experience
- Experience in implementing firewalls
To excel in this role, the successful candidate must be adept at working both independently and collaboratively. Close collaboration with the sales and technical departments is crucial for success in this role, so excellent communication skills are a must. Holding an active Microsoft certification in Microsoft 365 or Azure would be highly desirable.
