Techincal Support Officer - Grade C1
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Technical Support Officer to join the Intervention Team within Property Management. We are a fast -developing team who have grown in size over the last year.
The Intervention Team also sits within Leeds City Council’s ‘Communites, Housing and Environment., and is responsible providing frontline support and advice to both customer and colleagues for all complaints, queries and ward member enquiries for all of the workstreams within Property Management.
As a Technical Support Officer you also provide operational support to aid the delivery of the Intervention team’s workstream including:
- Manage a number of work streams to deal with customer enquiries and escalated repairs issues.
- Responding to customer and stakeholder enquiries
- Assisting in producing reports
- Contributing to service reviews
- Administrative tasks
- Monitoring customer satisfaction through customer satisfaction surveys and analysis.
- Contributing and supporting the delivery of service plans in-line with council objectives in order to achieve excellence and continually drive a value for money, customer focussed service.
There are no specific qualifications needed for the post of Technical Support Officer, however the post requires good communication skills (both verbally and written) and the daily use of IT systems and Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word.
Whilst there is no automatic progression to any more senior posts, opportunities do exist for advancement and promotion, dependent upon normal staff movements and on the capabilities of the individual post holder.
Our Team benefits from a lot of experience and training will be offered both “in-house” and external to meet the needs of the individual and of the Department.
