As a Technical Publications Specialist your tasks will be as follows:
- Reports to the Technical Publications Manager
- Assists in distribution of all Maintenance related manuals
- Assist in receiving, sorting and insertion of Technical Manual revisions
- Communicate with various vendors and manufacturers in regard to technical data
- Assist in maintaining the current revision status register
- Assist in Technical Manual auditing
- Repetitive tasks
- Familiarity with:
- SkyWest company policies and procedures preferred
- File exchange, moving folders and files on a server
- Good auditing practices
- Technical Manual organization
- MHIRJ (CRJ) and Embraer (ERJ) Manuals (preferred)
- Experience using Skytrack, SkyWestonline-Techview, Microsoft office, Notepad++, Adobe Acrobat Pro and SkyWestOnline (preferred)
- Knowledge of XML or SGML (preferred)
- This position requires sitting at a computer for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
