Our team is currently has an opening for a Technical Sales Manager - Nutritional Health. The ideal candidate can be based anywhere in the UK.
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Brenntag wants to develop a new business around Food Supplements in the EMEA territories, by creating the new division Nutritional Health. This new entity is supported by 2 existing Business Units: Nutrition and Pharma.
The Technical Sales Manager should develop and grow our business on active customers (Nutrition & Pharma) through a new ingredients’ portfolio adapted to Nutritional Health and also prospect new customers on the growing market.
The Technical Sales Manager provides technical advisory and specifications to customers, that ultimately results in sales conversions.
As a Technical Sales Manager, it is your responsibility to:
- Drive sales activities and generate new businesses together with both sales divisions BSP Nutrition and BSP Pharma by providing knowledge about ingredients and value-added services in Nutritional Health.
- Lead technical and scientific support to our customer base to develop new opportunities
- Create the link and make it efficient with the Nutrition & Pharma Account and Business Managers of the covered territories for an optimal sales transformation
- Create the link and make it efficient with the Nutrition & Pharma Product Manager to know perfectly the ingredients portfolio and its evolution
- Maintain efficient level of European regulation and specificities of the covered territories
- Maintain appropriate level of product knowledge
- Continually seek new market and product sales opportunities
- Guide with market trends as well as information on competitors activities
- Keep track record in respective CRM systems
YOUR PROFILE
Experience:
Extensive experiences in Food Supplements market, especially in ingredients providers or distributors
Scientific education (Nutrition, Biology, Pharmacy…)
Knowledge:
- Strong technical and scientific knowledge in Nutritional Health ingredients (Botanicals, Vitamins, Minerals and other healthy nutrients…)
- Good understanding of Food Supplements European Regulation, its constraints, its opportunities
- Selling principles
- A Degree level qualification in Nutrition/Dietary can be a plus
