IT Project Manager - Leeds

Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate

You’ll be working alongside our delivery team to develop and deploy solutions for our customers.

The ideal IT Project Manager candidate will have:

  • Proven working experience as a project manager (ideally in the information technology sector)
  • Strong people skills to excel in customer-facing environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to appropriately manage project activities and customer expectations
  • Exceptional organisational skills including attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects
  • Refined time and task management skills
  • The ability to adapt to changing scenarios and manage expectations clearly
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Experience in planning and coordination of project scope

Desirable skills include:

  • Experience working in an Agile Delivery / Software Development environment
  • Experience working with cloud technologies
  • An understanding of the SDLC
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies

IT Project Manager responsibilities will include:

  • Working with colleagues and customers to coordinate the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Managing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring any changes in scope are documented and approved as agreed as part of the change request procedure
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Work with colleagues to develop a project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • RAID Management
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
