About the Opportunity
We are looking for an IT Project Manager for our managed services business to lead and manage technology projects. As the IT Project Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Technical Project Management - Plan and implement network infrastructure projects; define projects, schedules, allocate project resources, and lead project from start to close. Work with clients to plan, organize, and manage resources to successfully deliver and complete projects on-time, to-budget and to the client’s stated objectives. Develop and monitor schedules to ensure that projects are completed within established deadlines.
- Project Financials - Create and manage project budgets including labour and hard costs. Establish margin and mark-up targets and align resources to achieve financial goals. Scope project deliverables and determine price for projects by task and phase. Create estimates, convert estimates into statements of work and manage deliverables through their phases to completion. Develop and maintain detailed reporting.
- Relationship Management - Meet regularly with suppliers and partners to ensure that integration issues are identified and resolved. Lead status meetings, track and maintain detailed issues and risks lists, and prepare appropriate project meeting minutes and status reports. Identify project risks and mitigation strategies and communicate status and risk issues to stakeholders. Interface with all levels of business and technical management staff, as well as project teams to facilitate problem resolution and the resolution of competing priorities.
- Program Management - Manage client programs, where a program is typically a group of related projects that have interdependencies and a shared business outcome. Act as the Business Change Manager (where appropriate) and manage the program to its stated outcome and objectives. Identify the strategic direction of the organization and in collaboration with Client Services propose new projects to achieve results.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration on Projects - Create a clear, common goal for the project team. Unify team members. Manage through disagreement openly and respectfully. Leverage diverse skills and levels of experience that results in a more efficient, innovative and positive environment.
Your Skills and Capabilities
- Exceptional communication, management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma
- PMP Certified or in progress
- The ability to prioritize, multi-task and lead multiple projects at the same time
Location and Vehicle
The position required attendance at the Employer's physical office or at client sites. As such, this position requires candidates to:
- Hold and maintain a valid Ontario driver’s license in good standing at time of hire and throughout employment;
- Have access to and maintain own vehicle in good safe working condition; and
- Hold valid insurance that covers employee’s usage of own vehicle for work.

Salary: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
